This kit contains six vials of varying concentrations of the main wine components analysed enzymatically.

The 6 calibration solutions in the kit each contain the following compounds:

  • – D-Glucose and D-Fructose, concentrations ranging from 0g/L to 20g/L
  • – L-Malic Acid, concentrations ranging from 0g/L to 3g/L
  • – Acetic Acid, concentrations ranging from 0g/L to 2g/L

Used together these standards are suitable for the calibration of Vintessential test kits 4B100, 4B140 and 4B160 on automated discrete analysers. The standards are prepared in a 10% ethanol solution to match the wine matrix and are suitable for use as quality control standards in all spectrophotometric instruments.
