The VideoRay Pro 4 Standard BASE Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) system has been specifically configured to quickly and effectively perform a variety of basic underwater tasks. The Standard BASE ROV system is a portable and cost-effective solution that can be deployed in minutes and operated by one person if necessary.

The Pro 4 Standard BASE system includes a Pro 4 submersible, Pro 4 Integrated Control Box (ICB) with a Dell computer loaded with VideoRay Cockpit control software (note there is no extended case monitor integrated so the user will pilot from the PC screen), and an industrial USB hand controller.

The Standard BASE configuration is ready to accept the majority of VideoRay accessories and can be upgraded to accept sonars. The system is not delivered with a tether configuration so the user must select a new tether configuration for this system, or you may use any existing VideoRay tether.

The Pro 4 Ultra ROV system is a simpler, lighter version of our standard Pro 4 ROV system. The extremely portable Pro 4 Ultra control panel is about 40% lighter than the standard Pro 4 Control Panel weighing in at 8.4 kg (18.5 lbs). 

The Ultra system is the perfect solution for users who only need the most basic functionality of an ROV. The Ultra is perfectly suited for routine tasks – such as basic visual inspections or observations in normal environments down to 305 m (1,000 ft). A sleek Dell laptop with a lite version of VideoRay Cockpit Software controls the ROV and displays the video feed. The included sunshade enhances screen visibility in bright environments. The Ultra system also comes with a Logitech® wired USB hand controller, Pro 4 user manual, custom packaging, and a Pro 4 Basic Tool Kit.

The Ultra Panel contains only the essential hardware for basic operations. It packs a slightly lesser punch, with a maximum voltage of 48 volts (compared to the standard Pro 4 ICB’s 75 volts). This reduces the Ultra system’s maximum thrust to 21 lbs total and a speed of approximately 4 knots on the surface.

The VideoRay Ultra is compatible with accessories such as the manipulator, water sampler, laser scaler, and other similar accessories. Accessories such as sonar or the UT Thickness Gauge are not compatible with the Ultra. Users who plan to expand the VideoRay’s capabilities with accessories or complete more advanced missions are advised to consider our one of the other Pro 4 configurations.

The VideoRay Pro 4 IP65 BASE is the perfect solution for ROV operators who need fail safe protection from the elements, without sacrificing the power or capability you expect from a Pro 4 ROV system.

All the technology included in the Pro 4 IP65 BASE, including connectors, provides complete ingress protection against dust and “splashes,” or low pressure water jets, from any direction.

The Pro 4 IP65 BASE features the same functions and capabilities of the Pro 4 Rugged ICB in a slightly different package. The Pro 4 IP65 BASE replaces the standard control panel and processor with equipment that meets IP65 standards, including dust and waterproof connectors. It also adds a secondary 15” daylight viewable sealed monitor, perfect for monitoring both video and accessory feeds.

The Pro 4 IP65 BASE is delivered with all necessary cables, software, and processors. It is compatible with all Pro 4 submersibles, tether, and most VideoRay accessories. The Pro 4 IP-65 BASE can be upgraded to accept autonomous control, sonars, and positioning systems.

THE PRO 4 Plus BASE Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) system has been specifically configured to quickly and effectively perform advanced underwater imaging tasks. The Plus BASE ROV system is a portable and cost effective advanced solution that can be deployed in minutes and operated by one person if necessary.

The Pro 4 Plus BASE system includes a Pro 4 submersible, Pro 4 Integrated Control Box (ICB) with a high performance Dell computer loaded with VideoRay Cockpit control software, secondary 15” Hi-Bright daylight viewable display, and an industrial hand controller. This system has enhanced processing power and is BlueView sonar ready.

The Plus BASE configuration is ready to accept the majority of VideoRay accessories and is NOT delivered with a tether configuration so the user must select a new tether configuration for this system, or you may use any existing VideoRay tether.

THE PRO 4 Rack BASE Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) System has been specifically configured for operations requiring Pro 4 ROV performance from a vessel or command center with rack mounted hardware. The Rack BASE ROV Control Panel features a completely redesigned 2U package that fits seamlessly into any existing rack.

The Pro 4 Rack BASE system includes a standard Pro 4 submersible, a 2U PC loaded with VideoRay Cockpit ROV control software, a 2U integrated control panel, and an industrial USB hand controller.

The VideoRay Rack BASE configuration is also configured to accept both the BlueView 2D imaging sonar (not included) as well as the Tritech Micron DST scanning sonar (not included). The Rack BASE configuration is ready to accept the majority of VideoRay accessories and is NOT delivered with a tether configuration so the user must select a new tether configuration for this system, or you may use any existing VideoRay tether.
