According to AS 4775-2007, Emergency Showers can be plumbed or self-contained however they must deliver a high volume of flushing fluid at high pressure. As per the Australian Standard, safety showers must be able to consistently deliver at least 75.7 liters of flushing fluid for 15 minutes. STOREMASTA emergency safety showers are manufactured with 1 ¼ inch stainless steel pipes and fittings with automatic pressure compensating valve to ensure a steady flow.
