The RS485-LS is a RS485 / UART to LoRaWAN Converter for remote IOT and monitoring solutions. You can connect RS485 or UART sensor to RS485-LS converter, and configure RS485-LS to periodically read sensor data and upload to your Telemetry2U dashboard.
RS485-LS can interface to RS485 sensor, 3.3v/5v UART sensors or interrupt sensors. These provide a 3.3v output and a 5v output to power external sensors. Both output voltage are controllable to minimize the total system power consumption. The RS485-LS has an external antenna and an IP67 enclosure with a waterproof M12 cable hole for an external sensor – they’re powered by a rechargeable battery and a solar cell for continuous, wireless use – the perfect node for remote sensor deployments for environmental monitoring, aquaculture, agriculture and standalone sensor requirements. No Gateway required.
RS485-LS supports BLE and LoRaWAN remote configure which makes it very easy to adapt the device. It also supports wireless OTA to update the firmware.
