Category: Tag:

This slide warming tray has a 450 x 250 mm. anodised aluminium heating plate mounted on a powder coated steel base. Use of a one piece pad type element bonded to the heating plate ensures that an even heat is maintained within the working area of 400 x 200mm. Temperature setting is by an analogue control on the front panel, with indicators for power on, and heating on. The WT1 has a temperature range of approximately 28°C to 80°C (min 5°C above ambient) and can be used for a variety of purposes. For safety a thermal cut out is fitted, this will remove power to the element in the event of overheating due to control failure.

Applications include warming microscope slides, maintaining the temperature of samples (such as sperm and follicular fluids), and general heating of flasks, containers and laboratory instruments.
