The Dragino LTC2-LT LoRaWAN Waterproof IoT Temperature Sensor is fitted with a 3-wire PT-100 temperature probe on a 2-meter cable. The probe is double pressed to the cable for a waterproof seal with anti-rust properties, making it suitable for air, object, or liquid temperature measurements, with a range of -200 to +200C with 0.5C accuracy. The node is fitted with an external antenna for extra-long range and the internal 8500mA battery can last up to 10-years with a modest 20-minute up-link interval and good signal strength to the LoRaWAN gateway.

The Dragino LTC2-LT is a long range LoRaWAN IoT node that provides spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing power consumption. Its IP68 waterproof design makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It is powered by a 8500mA Li/SOCl2 non-rechargeable battery. Due to its low power operation, users can expect years of operation with a moderate logging rate.

 

It comes fitted with a 3-wire PT100 with a range of -200 to +200 degrees, making it perfect for general use, or for cold storage application like -80 freezers and dry ice that is commonly used for COVID-19 vaccination storage and transport.

 

There are also other probe options available, including a pipe bore, surface probe, food safety probe and a hole installation to permanently fix to surfaces like bearings etc.

 

The Dragino LTC2-LT can be configured with downlink commands or alternatively, you can configure your device with a FT232RL USB to TTL converter via a PC.
