Particle size analyzer for Hydro Power applications.
The LISST-Hydro instrument system is designed to supplement Sequoia’s LISST-Infinite instrument in hydro power monitoring applications or work as a standalone instrument for hydro power plants where the sediment concentrations do not exceed 700-8,000 mg/l.
It incorporates a complete optics and electronics system for measurement of size distributions and concentrations. Water is delivered to the system from the river via a pump, or from the hydropower plant via a pipe or hose, e.g. from the draft tube. The LISST-HYDRO is designed to operate with line power. A SCADA data display on a dedicated monitoring computer in the powerhouse is available. The LISST-HYDRO offers economical turnkey solutions for hydro power monitoring applications.
