Acrylic Counting Chamber for Zooplankton

Acrylic trays for the easy enumeration of large amounts of zooplankton.

The Bogorov chamber has long been a go-to device for zooplankton counts and picking.

Australian made from high quality acrylic, with a polished base for optical clarity, these plankton counting chambers are suitable for use with most standard stereo microscopes.

Standard Design

10ml 

Measuring 80mm x 80mm x 6mm in length, width and depth respectively.

Features a meandering 5mm wide x 3mm deep channel.

30ml 

Measuring 100mm x 105mm x 10mm in length, width and depth respectively.

Features a meandering 10mm wide x 5.5mm deep channel.

50ml 

Measuring 100mm x 150mm x 10mm in length, width and depth respectively.

Features a meandering 10mm wide x 6.5mm deep channel.

Modified Design

30ml 

Measuring 100mm x 105mm x 10mm in width, length and depth respectively.

This chamber features 6 x 5ml channels (each 80mm x 10mm).

50ml 

Measuring 100mm x 150mm x 10mm in width, length and depth respectively.

This chamber features 9 x 5.5ml channels (each 80mm x 10mm).

These chambers are constructed entirely of acrylic, as such is is highly recommended that they are not used with alcohol based samples, nor cleaned with other solvents or strong chemicals.

They can be cleaned using warm soapy water and air dried. Light to moderate scratches may appear on the base of this product over time as general wear and tear. The base can generally be repolished to extend the life of the product. Contact us for the procedure.
